We can achieve much more by working together. Especially when it comes to producing our films. Our products are the result of a close partnership with reputable manufacturers. Films, adhesives, print work and industrial tapes: at Fleetshield, we only use the best for every aspect of the project.
The production of films involves much more than just the manufacturing process. That’s because we do a lot of talking with our clients before we even begin production. We discuss the options available with our partners. We identify market needs, and then we decide on the best way to meet them. That may seem an obvious step, but only by maintaining that focus can we remain experts in film applications.
That is the only way to realise the optimal benefit from our products.
We test our films in our own laboratory
Before we apply our films to any surface, we naturally want to know
how they will work in real life. So we ask independent parties to test our films for fire safety, after which they are certified in accordance with the EN 45545 norm for rolling stock.
Then we subject the films to a critical review in our laboratory in Vianen, where we study how well they really retain their colours and protect against UV radiation. If the films do not meet our exacting standards, then we meet with the manufacturers to make the necessary improvements.
Only when we are completely satisfied do we add the films to our product line. And not a moment sooner.
