It’s not an exaggeration to call the application of our film a precision task. Every film has to be applied cleanly to your rolling stock, buses or buildings. It has to be positioned perfectly so that no irregularities are visible when it’s done.
Our staff know exactly what film application entails, but that’s not all: they also know how to work safely at your location.
After a thorough preparation, Fleetshield can apply the film with the edges abutting one another or overlapping, depending on what is best for your situation.
If the films are to be applied overlapping one another, we apply the bottom strip first and the top one last. This offers dirt and grime less space to attach to the surface, providing a cleaner appearance.
Realising that, we were the first company in the Netherlands to apply strips of film horizontally across the full length of the train cars.
We also use special lifts that enable us to apply around 1,000 square meters of film to the full length of a Thalys train in only three days.
Difficult? It took a bit of getting used to. But now, assignments like these are our specialty.
