At the initiative of the City of Amsterdam, metro passengers will be able to enjoy various artistic expressions from April 2009. The walls of the metro trains will display works of 42 different artists. Every two weeks Fleetshield will provide new artwork.

Restyling is being carried out with anti-graffiti, anti-scratchitti and ant-etchiitti film. On the one hand this will discourage vandals, on the other it will reduce maintenance costs. The anti-graffiti film will make it easy to remove graffiti. Additionally, the anti-scrachitti and anti-etchiitti film will instantly mask scratches in the old windows. An additional advantage: this treatment has immediately upgraded the ageing metro trains!
