Arriva decided to get Fleetshield to provide its Spurt trains with anti-graffiti film. Shortly after departure of the first train, the quality of the films was put to the test. Fortunately both the train and the round head and the rest of the train have been provided with transparent anti-graffiti film. This makes cleaning simple and avoids high repair costs.

Affixing anti-graffiti film completely protects the ex-factory colours of the Spurt against graffiti and also against discolouration and impaired lustre. Moreover, the cleaning and maintenance of the trains will be a lot easier and more efficient from now on, thus reducing idle time.

All work on the trains is being carried out on-site at Leidschendam. The graffiti-proof Arriva Spurt can be seen on the line between Merwede and Linge.
